Halloween Costumes

Remember Count Chocula and Boo Berry cereal?  One look at this guy reminded me that food and cooking can inspire some of the most hilarious Halloween costumes.  This Count Chocula costume comes with shoe covers to give you that genuine, very dapper, Chocula look. Get one of your friends to go for a Frankenberry costume and you’re all set to be the king and queen of breakfast.

If you’re a kitchen diva or dude, you should definitely check out some chef costumes this year.   This inflatable chef costume from Costume Kingdom will have your backside looking like you’ve sampled too many of our Halloween recipes.

Hot dog costumes are an all-American selection, and an excellent choice, especially if you want to haunt the vegetarians in your neighborhood.  This hot dog costume from Party America is already decked out with a strip of mustard. But, I like relish, so I think I’d pin on some squares of green tissue paper.

Got a sweet tooth?  Some of the best food Halloween costumes are based on classic candies.  I like this Pez costume from Buy Costumes.Com, but I’m not sure if I could walk around holding my arms like that all night.  And, shouldn’t he be hopping instead of walking?
